Critical reception of the first episode was mixed, with Sam Wollaston of the Guardian expressing scepticism over a popular comparison with Mad Men, calling the episode a "slower starter" and "a bit of hotchpotch – Drop the Dead Donkey meets Spooks", but overall stating that "there's enough intrigue there to whet the appetite for more"[3]. However, AA Gill in The Sunday Times called it "Self satisfied guff" with "a script that would shame a Bruce Willis movie" and Michael Deacon of the Telegraph criticised it as "an exercise in upbraiding the past for failing to live up to the politically correct ideals of the 21st century", although he praised Morgan's writing and concluded by stating "I wouldn’t want to give up on The Hour too soon"[4]. Deadliest Warrior Season 3, Episode 6 – Teddy Roosevelt vs–Watch Online Free

Deadliest Warrior is a television program in which information on historical or modern warriors and their weapons are used to determine which of them is the "deadliest" based upon tests performed during each episode. The show is characterized by its use of the data compiled in creating a dramatization of the warriors' battle to the death.Episodes begin with the introduction of either two types of historical or contemporary warriors, or two historical individuals. The history, culture, and general fighting philosophies of each are explained. The explanations are accompanied by segments showing actors performing dramatized scenes that are meant to depict the daily lives of the actual fighters. Two teams of guests (introduced as experts on the warriors) are brought onto the show to test weapons spotlighted as being used by each of the warriors.[9] Typically, the different weapons are organized into four categories (As of season 3, three weapons) : short range, mid range, long range, and special weapons. However, some episodes (for instance, "Green Berets vs. Spetsnaz") have had as many as six categories, supplying two weapons for a single category (long range in this case). Matt Anderson and Sonny Puzikas, the experts for the "Green Beret vs. Spetsnaz" episode, have suggested that the teams are assigned weapons by the producers and that they have little influence in the production of the acted simulations.[10]
The teams test the assigned weapons on various targets including human silhouette targets, mannequins, pig and cattle carcasses, and (most popularly) human-shaped ballistics gel torsos, heads, limbs, etc. Additionally pressure mats, accelerometers, chronometers, and other tools are used to test things such as the striking force and speed of each weapon. Sometimes, the targets are covered with armor that is representative of what would be worn by the warrior's opponent. While the damage inflicted on the armor by the weapon is factored into the weapon's effectiveness, the defensive ability of armor isn't included as a separate category on the show in the first two seasons. However, armor does have its own category in season 3. All of the weapon tests are recorded with high speed photography, and the results are fed into a computer that measures the damage each weapon is capable of inflicting. The producers and hosts then compare the results for each of the weapon categories and determine which weapon they feel with give its warrior an edge in that category. In instances when the results of the tests are close, the panel may decide which weapon has won based on their personal opinions.[11] However the hosts of the show have admitted that their choice of which weapon gets the edge has no effect on the final results. The data collected from the weapons tests is fed into a computer simulation based on an unreleased commercial game engine developed by Slitherine Strategies[12] to determine the average winner of one thousand battles, although since season 3 a new system created by Robert Daly is being used. These results are then used to create a fictional battle reenactment (, now has his own segment in which he gives a brief history of the weapons wielded by the warrior.[

America's Got Talent Season 6, Episode 26 –Watch Online Free

America's Got Talent (also known as AGT) is an American reality television series on the NBC television network, and part of the global British Got Talent series. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers of all ages competing for the advertised top prize of US$1 million. The show debuted in June 2006 for the summer television season. Starting in the third season, the Talent top prize included US$1 million, payable in a financial annuity over forty years (or the present cash value of such annuity), and a show as the headliner on the Las Vegas Strip.Among its significant features were that it gave an opportunity to talented amateurs or unknown performers, with the results decided by an audience vote. The format is a popular one and has often been reworked for television in the United States and the United Kingdom....
The current incarnation was created by Simon Cowell, and was originally due to be a 2005 British series called Paul O'Grady's Got Talent[1] but was postponed due to O'Grady's acrimonious split with broadcaster ITV. As such, the American version became the first full series of the Got Talent franchise. Despite being heavily involved in the show's production, Cowell does not appear as a judge. This is due to the conditions of his contract with Fox Network.During the live shows, a group of acts ranging from only a Top 20 (Season 2), to as many as 48, compete for viewers' and judges' votes. In the first season, the judges could not end an act's performance, but could either "check" or "X" the performance during their critique. Since Season 2, judges have been able to end an act's performance early, and the "check" was removed. Acts generally perform in a first round consisting of a series of quarterfinals. These rounds may also consist of additional shows for "Wild Card" acts brought back from previous rounds, and, since Season 5, performances from finalists of YouTube auditions. From these shows, the existing group is cut in half through votes by the public and the judges. At this stage, the judges' vote is generally limited to critiques, although in all seasons (excluding Season 2), they have been able to put one act through to the next round during the first round of live shows. Acts then move on to a semifinal round, and even further rounds (such as a "Top 8" or a "Top 10", depending on the season) through a series of weekly shows, which trim the number of acts down each time based on a public vote. In the majority of seasons, judges have had no vote from the semifinals on. All these rounds culminate in a live final, which has consisted of anywhere from four to ten acts throughout the seasons. The act with the most votes is declared the winner, and given $1,000,000, and, since Season 3, a chance to headline a show on the Las Vegas Strip. Since Season 5, the show has also made the winner the headline act of a national tour.
